I’m not a fan of diagonal lines on card sketches so I had to get creative for this one.
So instead of a diagonal pattern, I saw a pocket! The insert is made of patterned paper backed with cardstock for stability then adhered to another cardstock panel so I could split the patterned paper, pop it up on foam dots and inset the rhinestones.
I was going to stamp a chandelier to match the patterned paper but in the same CD case was this serenity prayer stamp so I changed my mind. The scalloped edge is part of a die cut. It has a double scalloped edge so I cut it in half!
I hope you will enjoy this week’s sketch. I know a lot of people like diagonal lines; are you one of them? join us at Unscripted Sketches this week to have some sketchy fun! Not the bad kind of sketchy mind you; just the fun kind!
Enjoy, Rebecca
