This week our OCC challenge was to use weaving on your card. I decided to use an uneven type of weaving, threading Memory Thread by DMC through a trellis to resemble a vine.
Memory Thread is like very thin cording with wire inside so it holds it’s shape pretty well. I used a hydrangea punch, embossing the petals individually in a circular pattern to give them dimension. The larger ones are embossed downwards and the small ones are embossed upwards in a cup shape. I think I will add more flowers later and when I decide to use this card, I will add a tiny tag tied onto the trellis with a little sentiment.
I hope you will play along this week. Be sure to visit the OCC blog to see the other AWESOME samples the Design Team have created!
Enjoy, Rebecca
