Praying Faerie for Whimsical Wednesdays

Thank you to this month’s sponsor, Katie of Paper Makeup Stamps, for this great digi image. Isn’t she pretty?

I wasn’t sure I liked the colouring until I saw it in the photograph, now I like it. I still think the bottom of her dress might be too dark but she was lacking contrast before so I kept making the shadows darker. Her wings are covered in diluted Liquid Pearls but I think my brush was a bit dirty because in some light they looks a bit grungy, fortunately, you can’t see that here.

We have a fun sketch from Nikki this week. Hope you all have time to play. For inspiration, be sure to visit all of the DareDevils this week except Kim, Val and Debbie who couldn’t play. Once you create your masterpiece, be sure to upload it using DDSC19 and show it to all of us on Whimsical Wednesdays with a DIRECT link using Mr Linky.

Just a fun little note. We reached 100 followers on Whimsical Wednesdays! Thanks too all who have played and have made it a super fun challenge blog. We appreciate you all.

On another note, if you haven’t already watched it, Seven Pounds is a great movie. Sad, bring your tissues, but great. I would be balling my eyes out right now if my attention wasn’t split between the movie and blogging.

Enjoy, Rebecca
