I have so much fun colouring with my Copics! Here is an example I coloued before I got my second box. When I looked at it today, I darkened the shadows with more grey and deepened the green at the base of the leaves.
I tried to use a piece of plastic canvas as a corner piercing template with mixed results. Not every row is even in a quarter circle. Basically, some rows have a half sized hole so it wasn’t as even as I had hoped. Plus, as it isn’t a true piercing template, some holes were naturally larger than others despite trying to pierce the same depth. I think I’ll save it for full circles rather than corners.
I used the technique on SCS to leave a portion of my image outside the Nestie die cut. Sorry, I don’t have time to look up the link. The rest is pretty easy to figure out.
This card was based on this fabulous sketch from Jack. I sure hope you’ll all play his fun challenge this week. As you can see, I added my stamped image to what the sketch provided. I look forward to seeing your work from last week. I always check it Tuesday night lately. Be sure to check out the team, they all work so hard to make such awesome cards. Leave ‘em some love while you’re at it huh? :)
Enjoy, Rebecca
